I go every Friday to buy local produce, far fresher than what the supermarkets sell.

Our local farmers need the community support and it is very hard work. I love their variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Let's buy and eat locally.

Home grown is too hard for me to accomplish anymore but the market allows me to still have access without the work.

I grew up on a family farm in Patrick Co., and these farms are dying out as we speak. These farmers need you to support them,especially with the economy the way it is in this area. Good fresh,homegrown,produce. At least you know what your eating,unlike food that comes from China and other countries,where they pick it green and lord knows the chemicals they spray on them since they don't have the restrictions that we do. Buy local,it's a win,win situation for everyone here !
