My family enjoyed being part of the CSA this past year. Weekly we filled our bags with fresh vegetables and eggs. We were very impressed with the quality, quantity, and variety we received. This was our first experience being part of a CSA and it was wonderful. We highly recommend Mud Run Farm.

We are so happy with the decision we made to go with Mud Run Farm and Alex. We first discovered Alex on this website. We visited a few farms and were most impressed and pleased with Alex. He took the time to answer all of our questions and gave us a tour of his farm.

We set out to find a local organic farm for produce and got so much more. We chose a full share with an add-on for his organic chickens. With the full share, we received a dozen organic eggs every other week. Alex does offer the add-on option for more eggs, if you so desire. Everything is very fresh and delicious. We were more than pleased with the amount of produce and the variety, week after week. We are a family of three and not only had plenty each week for using in the kitchen, but we were also able to can and freeze some items to enjoy over the winter months (which we were hoping to be able to do).

The farm is easily accessible from 30 and is a pleasant drive.

We cannot wait for next season to start!

I have nothing but good things to say and Alex and he CSA. The produce was excellent and he offered a lot of variety. We live far away from his farm and we were willing to travel. But he offered to let us pick up our share at a farmers market that is closer to us.

The produce was excellent and he offered a lot of variety. I love the fact that everything is organic. He also includes eggs and fresh chicken in your share. You know they are free range since you can see them running all over the farm when you are there. The farm is a nice peaceful place to visit.

Alex is nice man, laid back and easy to deal with. I think he is a throw back from another time. He plows his land with horses although he is not Amish.

All and all my husband and I highly recommend this CSA.

Thanks for posting Linda. I hope to get on board with this farm in 2014 as it is very close to my home. I'm so looking forward to changing my eating habits in the years to come as I think most of us should. Thanks again. Sue Ullum
