Bill Scheidler, the owner of Gardenripe, is a skilled and knowledgeable farmer. His farm produces a wide variety of quality vegetables and fruits. Despite these notable merits, I cannot recommend Gardenripe because of the mean and disrespectful treatment I (and other volunteers) received from him.

Bill was often quick to become impatient with volunteers. E.g., one day in response to a minor miscommunication, Bill aggressively raised his voice and tossed his hands in the air toward me. I attempted to calmly smooth out the miscommunication but he put a halt to any conversation.

Bill wrote lies about my actions and character on the WWOOF USA website to misrepresent me and divert attention from his unprofessional and rude behavior.

Gardenripe is a great CSA. Bill delivered our produce for the 2008 year & we loved what we got!! Lots of fresh produce! I froze & canned most of it to enjoy this winter. The Berry option was well worth it as was salsa time!! I was able to can salsa this year with the great produce we recieved! Would recommed this CSA to everyone!
