I am a great admirer of the work at Peaceful Belly to work with nature for wholesome, fresh, organic vegetables that are produced with sustainable methods such as no-till and cover cropping.

The positives: good quality produce, fresh and clean tasting; a weekly email describing what was in our weekly delivery and suggestions/recipes on how to use it; a convenient pick-up location; & a clean, well-run farm - my granddaughter and I volunteered one Tuesday to pick for the local food bank.

The negatives: What I actually received bore little resemblance to their advertised harvest schedule. There were no berries; not one delivery of Swiss chard, which is a staple in my diet, ditto for broccoli; very few greens and lettuce in the spring when they are in season, but a lot of potatoes and turnips; finally there were a lot of "odd veggies": round cucumbers, etc. Plus they were selling Swiss chard at the local coop and other things I wasn't getting at the local Farmer's Market. When I complained, they provided a prorated refund plus a little more, but without an explanation.

If you work with them, get an updated harvest list and written contract - the old list is dated 2009.

I frequently buy produce from Paeceful Belly at the Boise City Market and I only have one complaint, they produce such FANTASTIC produce that shoppers absolutely swarm them and if you don't get ther early, you will beout of luck. I love their variety and the love they put into it and you can taste it. Trust me, I have over 14 years as a Chef.
