Our family has been buying Wild Onion's produce through farmers markets or the CSA for five years now. Elizabeth has everyone else beat, hands down, for quality and consistency. She's growing through the winter now - it just keeps getting better! Whether it's fresh-cut spinach and sweet beets in January, or heirloom tomatoes and melons to die for in July, you won't find better, fresher produce.

I have been buying produce from Elizabeth at the Wake Forest Farmer's Market for the past several seasons. Always great and very fresh. Well worth the price. I give it a thumbs up. May try the CSA this year as well.

I've been buying Wild Onion Farm's delicious produce and eggs at the Downtown Wake Forest Farmers Market on Saturdays the past few years. Elizabeth tends to pick her veggies on the young-ish side when they're tender and there's little or no waste, and she somehow manages to get nearly all the sand and dirt off. (Caterpillars are welcome; my fish and turtles love 'em). I especially like her taste in picking new varieties of things I've never seen or tried, like tatsoi, russian kale, and interesting tomatoes and squashes. I also enjoy her informative emails each week to CSA members on the farm's trials and triumphs, and advice on how to keep and cook her food. To me, having dedicated local farmers like Elizabeth growing nutritious food is the most crucial form of "health insurance" there is.

We signed up w/ Wild Onion last year and were thrilled w/ the CSA system that Elizabeth has set up. We were able to use the 'credits' for the veggies and eggs that we really wanted. This is a nice option- compared to other CSAs which just give you whatever they have on hand.

Also, I was able to buy 60lbs of tomatoes directly from Elizabeth last year and canned them. They have been wonderful all through the fall and winter months.

All in all, Elizabeth has set up a very successful program w/ fantastic service and a great product.

We love buying our local food with Wild Onion Farms. The quality is always high and it taste great. My husband also has commented that the lettuce mix taste much better than what we have bought at the market. It is convenient and I will continue to support their great work. Thanks Wild Onion Farms for providing us with healthy great tasting food!

I am really impressed with the quality of the produce and the wonderful eggs that I receive from Elizabeth at the Farmers Market in downtown Raleigh on Wed. I go as often as I can and I love the flavors of the produce and eggs. I also know that I am feeding my family with healthy food and not food that is laden with dangerous chemicals. Thank you Elizabeth for the wholesome food that you provide.
