I was fortunate enough to live in Ephrata and found this farm about 5 years ago. Since I moved to Southern Lancaster County, I have not found any other farm with grassfed meats, so always come up to Meadow Run. I love their book selection! I follow Weston Price and Joette Calabrese's teachings on eating natural foods, so Meadow Run is a gift from God!

For humanely raised meat and poultry, you can't beat them. Plus they have eggs, honey, dried beans, and much more. Great communication when there's a weather issue or something impacting delivery.

I love getting chicken, eggs, honey, butter, cream, cheese & occasionally different cuts of meat. I also love that they carry the organs from the meat as well as beef & sheep bones & chicken feet which make wonderful broth. This is a great local farm that i love supporting! Also, they provide meat for some of the local restaurants so its great to be able to go out to eat & have the same great quality that i would make at home.

i seriously spent 6 months contacting farmers in search of the perfect farm and this is it. i was looking for a way to feed my family affordable food without sacrificing the quality. we needed grass fed beef, pastured chicken and pork and no gmo's in any of the feed. i was going to several different farms for different things and i love that meadow run has everything i need. we buy beef, chickens, pork, eggs, maple syrup, olive oil and more there. i think what really solidified my decision to shop here for all of our meat, is when i walked in their store they had copies of 'nourishing traditions' for sale.

I have been in this farm three times and twice bought products from them. The quality is outstanding. The pork, chops, beef cuts, chicken cuts, granola, butter are some of their products which are of great quality. It is almost 2 hours away from where I live but the trips is worth it. The young owner is very diligent and the have a trusting service where people write what the buy and get chain, if necessary, from a little box. Like the old times. I highly recommend this farm.

I have been going to this farm for about 4 years after I heard of it from a friend of a friend. I have recommended it time and again because I believe in their vision. From talking to the farmers, I have learned that they have incorporated many of Joel Salatin's principles, a grass farmer from Virginia who has written many books on the subject. This family is passionate about their role in sustainable agriculture and they pass their love of the land onto their customers. They have a very convenient shed for customers to stop in and browse their products. And there is usually someone nearby to answer questions. I am so grateful to have this farm close by.
