I joined this farm last year because I liked the close location to my home. Amy and Sheila provided us with a wonderful variety of produce, introducing my family to many new things we'd never tried, like 8 ball squash, persimmons, blk/purple beans and tomatoes, to name a few. Amy knows all the shareholders by name, greeting them at each pickup and chatting with them, sharing ideas and recipes.
Amy also works hard to provide other local products for sale, like milk, meats, cheese, and eggs. When the season ended, Amy kept the local milk delivery ongoing for us. She works with us if pick up time doesn't work that week, and is one of the most easy going people I've known. We've already put down our deposit for the 2009 season, and can't wait for more of her produce.
