I ordered some maple sugar candy from Hamiltons some time ago, and my mouth still waters every time I think about it.

Flavor/quality:The candies were fresh and delicious. I bought a box to give away and must admit ended up keeping it!

Packaging: The packaging is enough to protect the candies while not being wasteful. It's also appropriate for gift-giving if you decide you can part with a whole box.

Price: This is one of the best prices I've seen, similar to what you normally pay for blended maple candies (a mix of maple and other sugars).

Shipping: Shipping was fast and reasonably priced.

I would absolutely recommend Hamilton's for maple candy. You will taste the difference between the pure maple candy and the blended candies. Trust me, you'll love it!

I have never liked maple syrup, because I have always found it too sweet. But, when trying new recipes this summer that called for it, I decided to order a pint of Hamiltons. Needless to say, I haven't used it in recipes because I can't stop eating it on pancakes! It has such a smooth and silky flavor. It's not too sweet, but mellow and robust. I never knew maple syrup could be this good and recommend it to anyone who, like me, has shied away from it because it seems too sugary. Also, my pint came promptly, just a few days after I ordered the product. Hamiltons also included a brochure about the PA maple syrup industry, which I appreciated because I learned more about a product that I didn't know anything about. Thanks for opening my taste buds to a flavor that I had been missing out on!

This syrup was very clear but not too pale. It is very flavorful and sweet. It was just the thing for making maple fudge and maple ice cream.

I was very pleased with the Maple Syrup candy I purchased from Hamiltons. The price was one of the best I found online. The candy was packaged well and arrived quickly. The hardest part is trying to make it last!

There are many products online that are a blend of sugars, not pure maple syrup. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING BEFORE YOU BUY. The pure maple sugar candy is so much better, but it is more expensive. However, I found that Hamilton's price for pure maple sugar candy was close in price to what others are charging for the blended candy. Educate yourself so you know what you're buying.

I like good candy, and I like to save money. Plus, you get to support local farmers. It doesn't get any better than that. I should admit I'm a little biased. I grew up in Pennsylvania. Keep your New England Maple products-- give me that good old Pennsylvania stuff. Buy from Hamiltons- you won't regret it!
