Someone decided it would be a great idea to move the market from the Armory (by Walmart) to downtown near Tinseltown. No convenient freeway access, and long, slow, congested, side streets impede your pilgrimage.

Not only is this location THE WORST for access (particularly if you are handicapped), but the market will destroy the grass and surrounding areas in short order.

Worst idea ever.

Glowing fresh produce, community spirit and support for local farms. Local bakers, musicians, fisheries and dairies fare pretty well also.

Because it is locally grown. I love the smell of fresh produce, the genuine people and smiles. The place and people there are real, not plastic and that is refreshing!

There's always such great fresh & locally grown produce and baked goods! And I usually see something lovely of a non-food variety, too.

I support local growers and artisans because it is the only way to bring back a thriving local economy, and the quality of goods is better.

For Mookie, the goat dairy farmer, who owns Siskiyou Crest Goat Dairy, and all the beautiful local produce.

There is an amazing amount of local fare available at our growers and crafters market. Plus, the folks who supply and frequent the market are a joy! An overall great experience.

Ashland Farmers' Market is so representative of Ashland itself: organic, artistic, creative, and mind-body-spirit oriented. We are proud of our local farmers and growers and arisans. The first-rate freshness and variety of the produce there provides high quality nutrition and supports our friends and family who grow locally, and keeps us green in so many ways. And the selection of related crafts keeps us coming back again and again to see what's new. We are so grateful for the opportunity to shop locally and stay healthy and keep our earth healthy. Go Ashland!

There are many many growers in this vally and this is the friendliest, most accessible, and most entertaining marketplace in the growing season. I love going to find the best, the rarest and the tastiest produce and handmade products.

Our local farmers are honored by the community twice a week in Ashland as we come together to visit and share our local bounty. Here, we all care about each other and together we value the most local, whole and nutritious foods offered by a wide variety of growers.

Great smaller market featuring a variety of vendors. Farmers are accessible and the location is easy to get to and walk through.

This market has a nice variety of locally grown produce and you can talk to the farmers themselves. There are also custom items and foods available from the local people who produced them. Lots of people from all walks of life share time in this market. Wonderful!

Our fertile valley supports the growth of amazing produce and meat, and by BUYING LOCAL at farmers markets like the RV Growers Market I get to experience authentic flavor, because local farm products are chosen for their ripeness, not for their ability to withstand industrial equipment and extended travel. I also keep your money circulating within your own community by support family farmers. Buying local at farmers markets also helps to protect open space and farmland, and it helps to build community - I love the chance to meet local farmers and get to know who grows my food. And finally, shopping at our local farmers market is an important step towards building our communityÂ?s food security.

Grocery money goes straight into our local economy. Local organic farming keeps food production close to home and protects the environment. The produce is wonderful and extremely fresh, and sometimes unusual and interesting. The people are helpful and friendly. The market is also a good place to run into friends.
