I like having locally grown produce at a fair and reasonable price. It tastes great and I learn a lot by talking to the farmers.

I have lived in Independence for most of my adult life. I enjoy going to the square and seeing what the farmer's market has to offer. It is wonderful how hard these farmers work to bring us fresh produce with the best quality around! They deserve recognition for their years of hard labor and dedication to freshness!

Because the produce brought to the market has been grown within a 50 mile radius and the farmers usually rely on these products for their living.
