If you are interested in purchasing produce or learning more about Earthworks, I recommend contacting the San Gabriel Valley Conservation Corps, the organization that now runs the farm. Although they are currently in transition, they are still growing various produce and are looking to re-start their CSA within the next few months.
Their website is down and organization is getting better. But the people at SGVCC and Earthworks are friendly and are working hard to rebuild the farm. If you're interested in volunteering, this is definitely a place you can help.

Though somewhat hard to find, the taste and freshness of the produce make the trip worthwhile. Also agree that the apricots, while not cosmetically what you find in the stores, their taste is far superior to even those in health food stores or other stores having organic produce. CSA membershp is limited to 20, so hope we can still get signed up as I understand the first distribution begins in July. My only suggestion is that those working the stand know the names of the crops for sale so they can each us fresh vegetable newbies. We arrived one hour after opening and they did not have some of the items listed on the previous day's what's available update, so get there early!

I live in the South Pasadena area and it takes us about 12 minutes on Saturday morning to drive to this lovely farm located in a park. Last week we bought garlic. Compared with what is available in the stores from China, this is heavenly. Fresh and full of flavor. We also got red beets, radishes, carrots, zucchini, arugola, red and white cabbage, and a bunch of sunflowers.
The apricots were bursting with sweet, fragrant flavor. The ones you get at the store only have the appearance of the original fruit... so you tend to forget how great they are supposed to taste.
We went into the field and chose our own head of cabbage. Can't get fresher than that!
Great, great place and you will be supporting two good causes: the kids and your own health!
