we look forward to go on an adventure to the farmers market every week, my son love to get fresh fruits and veggies, and he also love the kettle corn, we bring home a lot of goodies at a great price, and it is all fresh!!

I support Alameda Farmers Market because all the vendors are friendly, food is delicious and the prices are very affordable.

It's a short walk from my house, and provides me with a wonderful opportunity to buy local fruits and vegetables twice a week.

Golly, why not! I look forward to my excursions to the market and come home loaded with fresh goods for wonderful meals.

It's a small, hometown market that needs monetary support to help them grow. The produce is wonderfully tasty, and the prices are great! With the exception of dairy and protein, I buy all our grocery needs at the Alameda Farmer's market

It's a small community market that brings amazing products to folk who need them, without the carnival atmosphere so prevalent at the larger markets. Plus, parking and transit access is superb. They deserve a grant to help them grow and optimize!

They have wonderful produce and flowers (organic and "traditional') all locally grown, delicious prepared foods, sea food and more. The vendors are friendly and generous with children. There are often performers (musicians or clowns) as well, making a visit there a full-fledged community event. Each year it has gotten better and better.

I love my market because it is close to my house, has a nice variety and I can get parking easy. Also the farmers are so nice.

Beautiful produce, Friendly farmers. A chance to run into friends. Live music is great.

b/c they always do their best to support locally grown and sustainable products. also they are very compassionate to some of the homeless people or people that are struggling financially speaking. everyone is friendly and seem sincere.

It's a great place to bring the kids and buy fresh food. We also like the live music.

Shop locally to bring back to the community. Love the freshness and it is always good to see a friend from the island.

I love our local Farmer's Market! I go every week to buy fruits, veggies, eggs, bread and flowers. Alameda is a wonderful town.

What a treat to find organic and locally grown fresh fruits and veggies here in Oakland. I love that I no longer have to drive to Berkeley for my produce!

I love having the farmers market in Alameda and appreciate the small, uncrowded gathering of local growers and shoppers. I prefer to support the local growers/farmers whenever possible. Loved the bee keeper's display of live bees and the honey production! I can do all of my shopping for fresh veg, fruit, farm fresh eggs(yay!), bread, nuts, flowers, etc in one day to last all week. Terrific.

My one request - add a cheese vendor from a local farm with fresh-made cheeses!
