aside from the wonderful local produce and prepared food, it's in a fantastic setting that just invites you in -- a historical park shaded by old trees, with story time for kids, etc.; walking/biking distance to the main strip in town...

Love the vendors and the foods they bring. It's wonderful to be able to supplement what I grow myself, like fresh corn, mushrooms, peaches. The vendors are always happy to answer growing questions and provide recipes.

WELL LET ME TELL YOU, FIRST THE FRUITS & VEGS ARE THE BEST AND ALL THE PEOPLE GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP
AND IF YOUR NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU BOUGHT , TELL THEM AND THEY WILL EITHER REPLACE IT OR YOUR MONEY BACK ,NOT LIKE A SUPER MARKET ,CAN'T DO ANY BETTER THAN THAT

The market has worked hard to find the best growers with the best produce in our area as well as finding other local businesses to participate in the market. In the few years they have been open they have worked hard to include the whole community in the market offering a children's reading program at the market as well as demonstrations by local chefs.

Without farmers, we will have no food. When supporting your local farmers by purchasing fresh fruits, vegetables, breads and dairy products, you're not only helping the farmers, you're maintaining a healthy lifestyle for yourself, as well. Historic Lewes Farmers Market provides it all along w/ the education, should you have questions or need advise! It's a win-win when you visit HLFM!
