I have joined a couple of different CSA's and have liked them, but never LOVED them like I love this one. Ashley and Ethel work very hard to make this a great experience. The variety is a perfect blend of familiar favorites and new experiences (complete with handy recipes) . The amounts are spot on, the veg is the freshest I've ever received in a CSA (and that is saying something), and their list of pick up sights prolific. What really sets them apart from other CSA's, at least in my eyes, is that they trade/buy wholesale with other local farms to provide the best variety possible, so you are unlikely to get ten pounds of beets and and little of anything else (true story, though you can't blame the farms, and I don't; I couldn't grow much those summers either). The variety of vegetables seem to be tailored towards optimal health. They also have lots of extra options, like meats, farm fresh eggs, cheeses and local products like maple syrup that you can add. If you breakdown the cost per week, it is an unbelievable value, especially for organic vegetables. If I bought this amount and variety of vegetables at Whole Foods, I wouldn't be able to afford it. Ashley and Ethel are very commited to their customers over all well being and my family and I are healthier having shared this experience with them. This will be the only CSA I subscribe to from now on!

I have been a Member for 3 years, and am very happy. I eat many more vegetables than I would normally eat because I always have a refrigerator full or locally grown organic produce. We get blueberries, strawberries, melons in addition to vegetables. The Needham group has a few openings for the 2009 season.

Last year I participated in the CSA program from Heaven's Harvest Farm and I couldn't be happier. I have already signed up for this year as well.

The quality and variety of the produce is beyond what I expected. Everything is top quality and well packaged. It was a great way to try new foods that I otherwise would not have purchased in a grocery store.

Ashley and Ethel are just amazing to work with. I commend them for their hard work and dedication to providing local people with the best locally and organically grown food possible.
