My sister and I visited this market for the first time today. We were both very impressed. We met there as each of us lives more than 30 miles from Okemos. We've decided to make it our regular Saturday routine, it's well worth the drive. There's a great deal of diversity, even this eary in the season, in the products available for purchase. We found the prices to be more reasonable than some of the other market's we've visited and the vendors were all very friendly and helpful.

Because of the fresh, locally grown produce and food, that is grown and made, without all the chemicals, and preservatives.

I love that I can get fresh locally grown food right here in Okemos. It has such a great flavor when compared to buying the stuff in the store. I just wish they were around for more than one weekend a month.

What's not to love about the Meridian Township Farmers' Market? The Market has a wonderful variety of produce, prepared foods, cheeses, meats and other bounty from the Great Lakes. I appreciate that we have a core group of vendors each Wednesday/Saturday with a few pleasant surprises each week. I found my veggie CSA (Titus Farms) and my beef CSA (McLaughlin Farms) at the Meridian Farmers' Market.

It lets me buy fresh, often organic produce, and locally produced eggs, butter, cheese, meat and seafood so that I can make interesting, healthy and delicious meals for my family. I am also a big believer in buying sustainable and locally grown food, it's just plain fun to get to know the sellers and learn about what they have brought to market each week.

Love the number of organic vendors and the variety from around the state! The people who sell produce (and other things) there are some of the friendliest around. Saturdays wouldn't be the same with the market!

Love the variety of organically grown tomato plants I can buy at the market in the spring. It is great to have vendors come back for Thanksgiving turkeys and special items.

I grew up biking down to the farmers market to buy apples and samosa, and now that I've gotten older and learned to cook there's nothing like making a meal with produce fresh from the market. All the vendors are wonderfully friendly.

Tasty organic produce and herbs, fresh fish, homemade baked goods, lovely flowers - all available in my community. These are the things that make me wake up happy on Saturday mornings! Quality and variety of products are hallmarks of the Meridian Township Farmers' Market. Positive interactions with vendors and a chance to see my neighbors add to the ambiance of the market experience. Thank you.

I have been a customer for six years and this market only gets better and better! There is a wide selection of interesting and fresh produce. There is a nice selection of organic as well. The vendors are friendly and helpful. The addition of the fish vendor and the shrimp vendor allow one to plan and shop for a full meal. The egg roll guy keeps the hungry children and adults satisfied! Be sure to visit Wilbur for his butter and farm fresh eggs and other products from the country. It is all hustle and bustle on Saturdays. You'll never know who you will run into. It has really become a community meeting place.
