The Corvallis-Albany Farmers Market is a wonderful market in a beautiful setting between a riverfront park and a still-vibrant downtown. The knowledgeable vendors have excellent produce, and the breads, honey, goat cheese, and other farm-related goods available are of high quality and delicious. Plants and flowers also abound.

This is a vigorous street fair devoted to local, often--even usually--organic fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, breads, cheeses. It has farmers whose passion and life work has resulted in the most luscious melons, berries, and tree fruits that can be grown in the area. The flower stalls add splashes of color. There are plants--both native and ornamental--that are suited to the area. Local craftspeople bring their baskets, pottery, fiber work, jewelry. On a perfect day in September (and in Oregon, September days are quite wonderful), the sun glows on the produce and happy, engaged people wander the farmers market in Corvallis. It's fun.

Thank you for the nice review! I just wanted to point out that the artisans are in a separate market that we do not run. It's on private property next to us.

A wonderful community energy of smiles, song, children and good food along the Willamette River where people enjoy each other in an atmosphere of goodwill where the essence of democracy and the common good is alive and well.

You can complete all of your food shopping in one place--so much variety and everything is so fresh! And there are Farmer Markets on both Saturday and Wednesday each week in Corvallis...for such a small community, this is quite nice!!

I love the look, feel and smell of the market. It's a great place to connect with friends and neighbors. Both cities offer great locations of their respective markets.

I love the Farmer's Market because there is such a great sense of community there. I can go there and it's guarenteed that i will run into multiple people I know. Barring that, there's the tons of fresh and delicious fruit and veggies.

I was able to visit this market when my daughter lived in Corvallis and fell in love with Farmer's Markets because of this one. It is so well done and nothing beats locally grown food. I wish I could go there every week.

The Corvallis Farmers Market started out 20 plus years ago with very few venders. Now it is huge and is visited twice a week by hundreds of people who support our local growers. Not only does it serve our community with local produce it also has homemade local foods from beef to cheese. It is a place to gather for family and community and I look forward to my weekly visit to the Saturday market in Corvallis.

Such a great meeting place for all ages! And the variety is great; besides your ordinary fruits and veggies, I love that I can buy fresh honey, a ginko tree, and a birthday present of earrings all in one place!

I used to live in Corvallis and it is the thing that I miss most. Fabulous food, flowers and people. You see everyone from the community coming together to enjoy and support the work of the local growers and producers. You have no idea how great this farmer's market is until you leave.

It's just such a great way to spend a Saturday morning-- seeing your friends, listening to great music and eating/buying great food. I do, however miss the Wednesday market in the morning under the oaks.

The Corvallis Farmers Market has it all. A wide variety of locally-grown produce, meat, eggs, honey; herbs, vegetables, fruits, and ornamentals to plant at home; wine, cheese, wood-fired pizza, pad thai; live music of all kinds; a free speech area; the artisans market selling all sorts of locally-grown art. It's a fantastic way to spend a Saturday morning, not just to pick up your weekly groceries, but to really feel like a part of your community.

Our household buys all its fresh eggs, meat, vegetables, and most of its bread and cheese from the Corvallis farmer's markets every week. It's fantastic!! Fresh, organic, locally produced food, sold in a lively downtown by friendly people. There is always excellent live music to enjoy, interesting booths about sustainable living, and above all a happy community atmosphere.

Supporting local farmers who provide us healthy local produce is the best way to care for our environment and our community. We all need to learn to think locally and regionally, in terms of use of resources, whenever possible. We have amazing small farmers who grow organic foods in a sustainable manner. I am privileged to live in an area where such food is available and I want to support those who make it possible. Our Farmers' Market is also a gathering place for people of all ages and for artisans to share their talents, as well. It s a colorful and vibrant place which gives me hope when I become discouraged about our world, and gives me energy to keep working for the changes necessary so that others in our world can experience such places.

The atmosphere is always festive and family and pet friendly. the choices are many and the produce and always fresh and easily accessible. Many vendors allow you to sample their wares before making a purchasing decision-this also makes children very happy. There are always musicians, balloons, and various other child friendly performers and vendors and, of course, downtown Corvallis is quaint, welcoming, and well kept with the river and many trees and plants, as well as the fountain, providing calming, cooling respite from the summer months.
