They have the freshest produce and other items including great bread and organic eggs. It is also indoors, so when it rains, we stay dry!

This jewel has provided amazing produce, baked goods, and handmade products of all sorts longer than any market in Oregon. My mother and I have been shopping here since I was very young, we now bring my children, and in a few years I look forward to bringing my grandchildren. My husband, Toru, is from Japan and enjoys buying difficult-to-find produce he remembers from his childhood. We often buy souvenirs at the Public Market to take on our visits to Japan, for family and friends. Long Live the Public Market!

I've been shopping at the Salem Public Market since I was a teen and I'm now pushing 50. I have made friends & many fond memories. I'm glad to see that the market is still alive with new vendors and new/old smiles. Long live local, fresh grown produce & products and those who bring them to us on a weekly basis.
