I love the convenient location and wonderful variety. I start the morning with a cup of coffee and a pastry to enjoy while I shop. I've bought meat, eggs, shrimp, smoked trout, pasta, goat cheese and of course loads of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Best overall selection of vendors, meats, seafood and produce in my opinion, and I've been to all the local tailgates.

A lot of the same wonderful vendors as the North Asheville Tailgate Market at UNCA - and more! The Charlotte Street setting isn't quite as lovely as the UNCA market, but it's two aisles of wonderful, mostly organic produce and products. What a wonderful way to shop!

I love this market! Where some markets are only "reasonably local", this market is truly local. Small farmers and artisans come and sell what they, themselves, have grown. Everything is always fresh, the prices are good and the people are friendly. It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning!

This farmer's market is open every day of the week, offering local produce in season. The prices are fair and ... it's a fun place to visit!

We first found it in 1973 while on vacation with our children. It was a large market and had such a wide variety of vegatables and fruit. My four young children just loved it. Since then we have been back many times. There has been Blue Grass Bands and other varieties of entertainment. In the spring the flowering trees and shrubs are so beautiful. It has always been one of ours stops when we go to The Smokies.

Beautiful setting, wonderful community. My boys love to go to sample the veggies, bread and cheese, pet the dogs (and sometimes goats!), listen to the music.
