Our farmers market right now is pretty small and it could really use 5 grand to help improve the grounds area and or to attract more business.

I love buying local fresh produce, its the best. Plus its good to know where your food comes from in this day and age. I hope to support this market more as we settle into our new hometown.

Fresh produce is always crisp and delicious, prices are competitive, sellers are friendly and always ready to make a deal, and homemade salsa and jams are dynamite!! Also, I think supporting local farmers is a wonderful way to nurture our community in self-sufficiency by putting money back into our local resources. In addition, buying locally and seasonally conserves energy and reduces waste.
