My father was a butcher for 50 years for a Grocery Chain. I realize that hard work and long hours to provide families better food than Grocery Stores.
I am just Grateful, I can pay for better quality and support local business.
PS. I haven?t bought from Amazon in 5 years, to support local businesses. One person at a time.

Raising pigs in confinement is not sustainable. Please realize that you are purchasing pork from farmers that operate confinement farms, or CAFOs. The animals need more drugs, there are thousands of pounds of manure per day, and in no way are these animals being treated or raised in the way they are meant to live.

Once again, this "concerned citizen" seems to pinpoint another distorted fact as he probably did not speak to the farmer either just witnessed or used hearsay. Additionally, Wilson farms is the ONLY SPF certified farm in the STATE of Wisconsin. PLEASE visit this link to understand and EDUCATE yourself on what you are talking about. We should be thankful for what he goes through to keep this accrediation. Please visit this link and THEN tell me how uncaring and factory this place is as if it wasn't for him and the hundreds of inspections we would not have healthy animals anywhere. "Concerned Citizen" should be named "vindictive citizen". Though some of his animals are used at the University of Wisconsin, I guess that makes him a bad farmer and cruel, huh?
