As a farm vendor and, have to admit, weekly customer, this is our favorite market in the state.

Everything is fresh, good, organic and there's such a variety of items - dairy, meat, fish, and wonderful produce of all sorts!

They have the best selection of organic produce and baked goods. The spot is full of energy with the music, dogs, and people. Vendors are friendly and informative. My family and I make it a MUST to go every Saturday morning!

I can buy raw milk, goat cheese, rosemary olive sourdough, local beef, veggies and fruit. Everyone is so friendly, it's a bustle of people, vendors and chatter.

Great value and selection. Always fresh produce locally grown. The street musicians are a nice touch.

It's down the street from where I work, it focuses on making great locally grown food available, the folks are friendly, it's a great place to hang out with the neighborhood.

I give this market a 5 Star rating because everything was soooo fresh with lots of food samples to try. From fresh bread to milk sold in glass bottles and creamy dips made from goat cheese, carmelized onions & spices, to organic plants for sale. I got wonderful romaine lettuce that at 1st I thought was a little high priced until I bought the next head at the grocery store and it was 1/2 the size and not ORGANIC. I never went to a market where you could buy meat and place orders for the next week. Some of the plants I bought were herbs that I got @ 2 / $1, they grew great and at 50 cents a piece, I couldn't beat it. This is definitely a small local market so don't expect the large commercial vendors to be here. I saw a lot of the same vendors & shoppers weeekly, so it's easy to get to know everyone. Last but not least, it was also close to the highway (I-95 & I-91) so it was easy to get to. With Wooster St. on the corner I suggest you come early, shop and enjoy some great Pizza & Italian food for lunch. Don't forget Libby's for your pastries, I can't resist their Gelatos', chocolate is my favorite, but they have all flavors of gelatos & Italian Ices. Hope to see you in 2009!!!!!!!!!!
