They have a diverse selection of excellent fresh produce, as well as baked goods, maple syrup, crafts. Being there, meeting friends and neighbors - it's a great feeling. The Farmer's Market is an asset to the community.

This market helps so many small food producers get into and say in business, supporting our local economy and agricultural landscape!

It's an awesome opportunity to support my community directly, not to mention being exposed to all of the talents and trades of people in the area. I am a new resident of Vermont and I think more places around the country should have this type of community gathering. Again, it's awesome!

The Capital City Farmer's Market is a localvore's dream and is part of how are are building our local economy. CCFM has a fabulous array of farmers, value added vendors of locally produced products, and more! Everyone come's together at the market. It's one of the highlights of my week! Now, we should just block off State St once a month for an extended market and pedestrian mall and we'll draw even more capital to our capital!

It's for real! The social event of the week. Everything is from small, local farms, and we know the farmers. Pete has an incredible variety of greens, you can ask Applecheeck Farms to bring in anything from their heritage poultry to bones for the dog, Red Hen makes the best bread in the state, and I could swear Sugar Ridge Farms is seling maple candy at a loss. Lazy Lady always has some great cheeses, and I can't decide which I like better, the green eggs or the eggs from kelp-fed chickens. That's just for a start.

The Montpelier Farmers Market is my favorite market not only because of the amazing farmers and vendors, but also because of its wonderful ambiance. The musicians that play every week are great, and I always feel at home walking around and running into many familiar faces. The location is great, easy to walk to, and very accessible.
