Variety of items sold here. Search for a favorite vegetable or look for a craft item from local artisans. Many set up quite early and do stay until the end. Only a 10% of sales donation to the church if you are a vendor. Bring along a basket and get fresh items galore. In relation to the other posted comment - we are asked as vendors to not sell items from local produce auctions. There are a few from time to time who do this - ask the vendor if you want to be sure - most all bring in fresh. Just as at any open air market you will meet a wonderful variety of vendors. The fresher the produce the more nutrients for your loved ones Side note: Many vendors work to make a living at these markets or add to their disability or retirement income. Quite often people make little profit. Markets are a great place to help the local people and make friends with those who work hard for you. Come shop - you will love it here.

I have been a seller and consumer at this market. I shopped at this market for a year. I loved that it had so many vendors until I found out many of the vendors were purchasing from wholesalers/auctions. As a seller I saw many vendors breaking rules about leaving early. This was a huge safety issue as these vendors would literally drive into crowds of people. These market managers do no make any attempt to enforce rules that are created.

As one who has gone to this market for years I disagree that many sell from the auctions - we are asked not to and most follow those rules. As far as leaving early I left early once as the heat was making me ill and I was going to be sick. I have a traumatic brain injury and get sick easily but need the income as I have had no pay for over a year now to live by. I appreciate your input but then at times we need to be more understanding and just ask the vendors from where their produce came etc. Being an informed consumer is good. HUGZ
