Love going out there to purchase veggies and other farm things. Great place to take the kids to look at all the vintage tractors they use to work the fields, restored classic autos, and best of all... the rocks and their history. My kids and I always love the visit.

Once i got going west on 64, I only had to ask at the Citgo station for the details to the farm and found it with little trouble. I was greeted by the resident beagle and ushered into the store by the lady farmer. I got fresh goat milk (and met the two goats responsible), some fresh produce and some molasses. The eggs came from a neighbor after a quick call to them. I had eggs for breakfast this morning and they were good. The yolks appeared darker than the ones bought in the local store. There is a serenity about the place.

I've been hearing about the Barnhart farm for several years, and today was the first time I made the trip. It's a bit off the beaten path, but so worth it. The setting is unbelievably gorgeous, with unique stone fences creating both border and art. The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met and Mr. Barnhart took quite a bit of time to show me around. The shop also sold organic maple syrup, beeswax candles, and more. My son enjoyed running around looking at everything. We will definitely be back as more things come into season. Simply amazing!

I tried to find this place twice last summer, even called for directions... it would be helpful if there was better signage/landmarks. Also, would be nice if they had early hours one weekday for those of us who work on weekends/evenings.

Description sounds wonderful though, I hope I can make it out this year!

They are working on their signage. Believe me, it is well worth finding. Love going out there to purchase veggies and other farm things. Great place to take the kids to look at all the vintage tractors they use to work the fields, restored classic autos, and best of all... the rocks and their history. My kids and I always love the visit.
