My home town - glad to support local, sustainable food available to the community

It's where the community gathers. We even met our 5-year-old Jack Russell Terrier's littermate! We go for the visiting, then pick up some delicious Mexican seafood, great produce, sausage, chicken, beef and even plants and flowers. The food is superb, and it's good to know that we can "vote with our dollars" to support local agriculture.

What a wonderful place to meet friends and get great local produce and meats. The addition of music, crafts and great food make it a perfect way to spend some time.

Our market has the greatest fresh produce, flowers ,meats oilive oils, vinegars and music It's a great place to visit our friends and neighbors as well.

I am a grower in the area. The produce and products that are sold at this market are from very local and reputable farmers. Great variety.

It's a great little market, one of the very few that have pastured poultry and grass fed beef from local producers.

Hollister Farmer's Market has such a wide array of local fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers, olive oils, soaps, food stands, and music. It is managed extremely well, gives us an opportunity to chat and visit with everyone, as well as support the local farmers. It is perfectly delightful and enjoyable!

Hollister's Farmer's Market a wonderful weekly community event with friends and family attending supporting our local farmers. Well organized, lots of enthusiasm and we look forward to it! We get the freshest, organic fruits, eggs and veggies, Wolfin's sausages, Casa de Fruta's pies and B & R Farms dried apricots! Viola! Dinner is ready!

They have the freshest local organic produce, home made soaps and lotions. the best prices for flowers, locally grown or baked or cooked yummy foods and the people are great! And that is just the beginning.

Everything is so organized and set up in an appealing way. The variety of booths and quality of the vegetables and flowers are outstanding. It's a fun place to go and purchase the items so fresh and meet and talk with our friends we never have time to see.

It is FUN!!! Music, fantastic food and the freshest produce anywhere. Plus some crafts and beautiful flowers. I look forward to Wednesdays, its a wonderful family event with a community feel.

Espescially for the fresh fruit and veggies we grow in our local fields. Have so much more favor than the cold storage ones we get at the super markets.

I look forward to Wednesday for a home cooked meal of all the produce harvested on that day. I get a whole week supply of grassfed beef, organic chicken, and fresh eggs. Last week, we had dinner ordered from Cafe Ella, sat down and relax while listening to music. What a way to end the day after a hard day's work. I cooked fresh zucchini soup with basil on the first day the market opened. Delicious!

We are extremely lucky to have all our locally grown fruits and vegetables in one place along with grass fed beef, organic chicken & eggs and fresh caught fish from Monterey Bay. We also have great prepared food to eat at the market or take home sold by local restaurants. Live entertainment rounds off the perfect experience each Wednesday. See you there.
