This Market has a new name and new locations!
West Leonard Christian Reformed Church @ 1053 Leonard NW.
Times: Every Thursday 9am to 4pm (Sometimes later depending on the weather)
Seventh Reformed Church parking lot @950 Leonard NW.
Time: The Third Saturday of every month 9am to 1pm.
They have been known to have tomatoes, onions, potatoes, asparagus, homemade raspberry jam, chocolate chip/walnut cookies, banana bread, also tomato, cabbage plants and flowers. They will have fruit as soon as the fruit is ready to be picked (Mid June). The farmers market will run from May into October. They also take Project Fresh coupons! Sorry, but they are unable to take WIC or Bridge cards.
I am a regular customer and love the farmers and other vendors that attend with such a great selection of goods! support our local farmers and visit them on market day!

Local produce is fresher and tastier than supermarket produce. Let's support Westside Farmer's Market and local growers so they can provide great tasting produce to consumers.

Fresh local produce is much better tasting than the stuff found in the super stores. Who really likes green tomatos that have been chemically ripened or turned red by exposure to a gas of which I cannot recall the name.

The Westside Farmer's Market is only a small group of hard working farmers/growers, yet they do a good job of providing fresh and appealing products, most organically in whatever space is available from year to year. $5,000 would provide a huge boost in making a vast improvement for all in our community, the West side of Grand Rapids, Michigan!. Give them a pat on the back!!
