This is the second year I've visited the Milford market. Although it is small it is worth the visit. Last year I remember buying a delicious muffin, plants, herbs and veggies. Today I bought an organic baked good and kale. Thank you~

We enjoy talking to the growers and seeing what is grown locally. Infact it helps when they suggest ways to prepare the produce. My 3 boys tried white and purple eggplant this year cooked several different ways and we all enjoyed it. Our nine year old said eggplant tastes like potatoes and enjoys it with pasta and parmesean cheese. The Milford location is convenient too! We hope to see more farmers there on Wednesdays and Saturdays so we can keep buying local and buy healthy.

I am hoping the market will grow. hopwfeully our community will come together to support our local growers. Everyone is friendly and it's like getting together with family.

The Milford Farmers Market is definitely a worthwhile stop for your fruits, vegetables and even flowers. It draws about 6 farmers. The quality of the produce is very good and each farmer has something different. One guy has really good apples, another has some of the nicest greens you'll see anywhere, and another has fresh cut flowers. The others have a great variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, all at good prices. In the spring, they even have potted vegetables for planting. Plus, it is right next to the Milford Greenhouse.
