I really believe that a live feed to local farmers markets would increase business. Even though it's a little pricey it is well worth it to have fresh vegetables for our tables. A picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks be to God !

My husband, son, grandson and I always enjoy when we go to the VB Farmers Market! My 9 year old grandson especially loves to go when the Carnival is here and gets to go on all the rides! We usually eat at the restaurant here where the food is pretty good, prices are reasonable, and it's great for a quick bite! Love to go in all the shops and my favorite place is where I can buy all kinds of jewelry! The Ice cream shop has tasty milk shakes or ice cream in a bowl or on a cone! Love all the fresh fruit and vegetables that are available! Really enjoy the Amish store that has delicious homemade pastries from cookies to pies! You can also buy a wide variety of gorgeous handmade furniture here! If you're hungry you can grab a quick bite at the small restaurant located in the Amish store! We usually go to the VB Farmers.Market about every other month! It's a fun place to go to and you can enjoy the entire day there!

It is an institution in Virginia Beach! It reminds us of where we came from and the amazing small town feel that we still have in Virginia Beach. It gives people from all walks of live, local and non-local, a place to gather, relax, chat and slow down without loosing the "city" part of Virginia Beach.

It's nice to have a place like this in the city so you can still experience a little country sometimes. They also have great produce stands and wonderful activities for families.

Exellent location, venue, community supported location, and well run Farmer's Market. The market's diversity and customer friendly atmosphere lend itself to a positive place to browse and shop. The local flavor of produts coupled with the ongoing AG educational programs put on by the market staff encompasses what a community related place of business truly should be like. Go see the music Hoedowns, antique car shows, vender lane and first class tenats that offer a local butcher, seafood vendor, candy, organic grocer, fruit & vegetable vendor, bakery, flowers, garden products, and restaurant.

I like all the fresh and local fruit and vegetables. I like the idea that is for the family, no alcohol is served and that is great.

Now that my 7 month old is beginning to start solid foods, I am pleased that I am able to buy him locally grown produce to make his food. I am happy with the quality, selection, and prices.

Year round farmers markets are hard to find. Having one helps us be able to shop local grown. The organic store is the best!

I love getting fresh veggies in the summer and some of those hard to grow ones always come in handy at the market. Even after the fire where we almost lost our farmer's market, it has come back in the face of adversity to thrive once more.

Michelle of the Organic Garden in back of the VB farmers market was looking out for consumers health long before it was important to the rest of us. I believe that she has maintained a public forum for organic goods for somewhere around 20 years according to my source and she teaches organic cooking classes above the store as well. They try to buy local produce and they also go to polyface farms to find the best grass-fed bio-dynamically raised beef in the state of Virginia. They carry local humanely raised organic chicken eggs and maintain a stock of organic products. Their prices are more expensive than some of the other "organic" produce that you can find so abundantly now that it has become vogue, but they are also a small store that has maintained their integrity about organic products for a very long time for good or for ill and I feel that they have earned my trust a hundred times over. If you haven't visited this little jewel I urge you to visit the Farmers market and zip around back sometime. I think you will be glad you did.

Plenty of parking. Covered stalls in an easy to navigate building. Good fudge shop behind the market. Produce we purchased was good. Purchased from several vendors
