This market is a feast for the senses. It is one of the best markets in the country with great local farmers and vendors. The variety is great, the prices are reasonable. A great community that supports local businesses, yoour health, the environment, etc. etc.

I value community, sustainability, neighbors, and living locally. the closer, the healthier and fresher. As a mother of a 1 year old, I want to demonstrate a meaningful life to my son.

The market is beautiful, with flowers, local farmers' amazing, gorgeous fruits and veggies, and herbs, and honey, and more. Everyone is so happy walking around, we share how special the experience is. Clean food from good people.

Support local farmers! They are especially good and work especially hard out here in Oregon! So many different people representing so many different things and giving all of portland a beautiful alternative to run of the mill grocery stores. You can literally get anything here. It is the most wonderful market I have ever been to!

It is awesome, social, happy, musical, a great place to come on Saturday morning with your family, green and shady, very vibrant, has delicious breakfast with great bands playing music, and a huge variety of fruits, veggies, meats, breads, pastries, flowers and a wonderful place for berries in the summer!!

farming is not easy. Fresh food is better tasting than processed or frozen food. Our farmers need our support.

I love to make it a game: go to the farmer's market with $20 in cash in my pocket and see what kind of wonderful meals I can put together out of the treasures I find.

The location in the heart of Portland is both energetic and laid back. The perfect mix of city and country with the participating vendors from farms in the Northwest. The produce is beautiful and delicious. The wines, juices, cheese, bread, and sauces are amazing. The flowers are magnificent. Great people, too. It is an art experience that inspires me to cook and eat well!

Great location, great people growing making great food. And, while I shop my kids can play at the structure in the middle of the park under all those wonderful shady trees!

The local neighborhood farmers markets in Portland are the best, but the one by PSU is the largest and I think the best of them all. It's the largest and is the flagship farmers market of the city.

An amazing variety of fresh and prepared foods. Lots of organic and sustainably grown and produced food. Friendly people, great food (a perfect breakfast or lunch stop, too!), lots of variety. It's everything I look for in a farmer's market.

There are so many options available as far as vendors, that it's just incredible. The open season is extensive, the programs offered during the markets are terrific, and it truly exemplifies what a farmers market should be.

I love the local, Oregon grown fresh produce, as well as the natural meats, cheeses and baked goodies. There's fresh flowers as well as all manner of plants for your yard and garden. I also love the people I see there! Everyone is smiling, talking to the vendors, and seem to be having the time of their life. It's hard not to catch the happiness there when walking through the Portland Farmer's Market. Then there's the music, the cooking exhibitions, the yummy soups to go... The list goes on and on. If you've never visited our farmers' market, you are missing a REALLY wonderful experience.

The Portland Farmers' Market is food nirvana, both fresh and processed, in a gorgeous park environment with some of the best events ever planned by a market. It is large enough to provide true competition between vendors which gives customers great choice, whether for organic tomatoes, mouth-watering chocolate or anti-biotic and hormone-free meats. It presents many of the best producers from the Northwwest. It definitely is among my favorite farmers' markets nationwide!

I have a business called Perfect Picnics and, for me, the perfect picnic basket always includes seasonal, fresh, local ingredients. I also believe we should support our local farmers and food producers.

When the Portland Farmers' Market comes to the PSU Park grounds, it's like the musical 'Brigadoon'. Each Saturday they set up this wonderful community of food growers and makers with great food and music and vendors for eating for a few hours and then disappear completely until the next Saturday. I love it!

They do a great job. From honey and veggies to musicians, ice cream, fruit, flowers and cheese! I take every out-of-towner there, either Wed. OR Sat. And they plan other markets in different neighborhoods throughout the week, enabling more people to get fresh, local foods. Keep up the great work!

I have lived all over California but the best farmers market with the finest, most varied produce and a slew of other goods (as well as an upbeat atmosphere and lovely setting by the water) is, by far, the Portland Farmers Market.

Our market provides fresh fruits & veggies and it's fun to bike to my local place outdoors. It's personal and you get a chance to speak with farmer's about their produce and other products.

Portland Farmer's Market is where I go to buy everything from bread to strawberries to turnovers to honey to pumpkin bread. Everything is fresh, organic, locally grown, delicious and there are even vegan options! On top of that, there are several booths that cook food right there, making the Farmer's Market a perfect Saturday lunch outing - get your groceries and an amazing lunch all in one place!
