Because the food is fresh, grown locally, I know the growers, so feel confident they are using the best GMO free, pesticide free, growing methods even if they are not officially designated as "organic". Of course the food tastes better too. ( I grew up in the ( on time) market basket state, NJ, eating ONLY fresh food!)
