I test produce that I buy for nutrient density to see if I am getting what I think I am getting. I have a brix press and a refractometer. I have tested produce from grocery stores and from a river market booth. I have gotten mostly poor results. I've even had non-organic apples test better than organic. I was starting to think my refractometer was broken. Last fall as I was picking up organic fertilizer for a lawn client I grabbed some of the produce in the farm store that hadn't gone to the CSA. Finally! Produce that got an excellent reading on the refractometer! Frank and the folks at Troque pay attention to biology as well as mineralization. The result is nutrient dense food, the way it's supposed to be.

I started buying milk from them earlier this year. The taste and quality are unsurpassed. It is hard for me to share the cream with my family, it's that good. I've had some of their pork as well and have been extremely pleased. They are friendly and easy to work with. I just wish I had more money available so I could buy even more from them than I do.

I've been buying milk from Troque Farms for the last 8 months and have to say it is the best milk I've ever had in my life. The farmers at Troque are friendly and down-to-Earth and really have a passion for producing the best quality foods for their community. I've since turned many others onto Troque Farms in hopes that this burgeoning local food movement continues to spread, as we get back to eating the foods our forebears ate--a swift departure from the empty foods which pervade most grocery store shelves. Troque Farms is the best!

I recently discovered this jewel! Great people of integrity here. I love the organic products and the easy access to excellent dairy products and produce.

I have been buying from Troque Farms for several years. The raw milk is the best. I can find free range eggs, chickens, fresh grass feed beef, veal,pork and lamb. They also carry organic fertilizer, and many other products.
