I Love my dog but I wouldnt take him at 100 pounds to the market. As I was walking thru last saturday two dogs were in a fight One Lady had three dogs on a leash that got tangled up on my legs. The market is for people to buy local fresh produce etc. I will never go to Broadripple again Binford is much better wider walking aeras and very few dogs.
Please Please Please don't let broadripple go to the dogs.
PS there is a dog park two blocks away I think the dog park should let vendors put up there tents in there

It is full of fresh items, and the variety is awesome. Not all of it is food, but it is all local. Very important! Plus, it is a huge community event...everybody comes---and I mean EVERYBODY! Young, old, all varieties of people, kids, dogs. In addition to providing wholesome delicious stuff, it is an inspiration to lead a greener, more community-centered life. I am always bummed when it's over in October. BUT -- we have the Trader's Point market with some of the same vendors to help tied us over the winter.

I love to go there on a Saturday with one of my dogs to check out what each vendor has & who is there. Everyone is so friendly. My dog always gets a treat from the local dog bakery that is set up there. I can get anything I want from a cup of coffee or organic tea, a fresh baked good to go with it from one of several area bakeries to of course whatever is in season. I love garden grown tomatoes & am unable to garden so it is the perfect place for that, plus there are those vendors that sell that thing I don't make like home made jam, barbeque sauce or different salsa & chutneys. It is always a feast for all the senses & I look forward to my Saturday mornings there.

The market has the best variety of local produce, flowers, meats, eggs, cheeses, and baked goods (many made fresh daily right in the village). One of the best things is that this market is easily accessible by bike or foot from adjacent neighborhoods, and other Indy neighboods via the Monon Trail that is a block away.
