I purchased three varieties (Persian Star, Spanish Rojo, and another I can't recall) of Roger's garlic last year and it was some of the best I've tasted. I shared it with friends in three states and we are still talking about it. My sister planted some of hers and it did very well. Roger's garlic is very fresh, and the bulbs are nice and fat. Each variety has its distinctive flavor and shape, and the bulbs lasted several months (kept in brown paper bags, away from the light). The flavors are full and rich, but not hot like supermarket varieties can be. I have been eagerly awaiting his 2008 harvest so I can give up the grocery store stuff and move up to Roger's gourmet! Not only does he grow great garlic, but he's a pleasure to deal with.
