Always fresh food and everyone is always really friendly. It really is a place the whole family can come to and enjoy themselves.

This location is convenient, clean, and CRIME FREE. This market is WHOLESOME and safe for kids and seniors. The vendors are clean and helpful; their goods are the best!

I hear daily from the MFM Volunteer Cultivator about their superb mission in bringing quality fresh fruits and vegetables to downtown Memphis with many unique and varied attractions (besides the produce) every Saturday.

It is important to support local farmer's. And fresh produce is always best. THe people are so friendly.

The merchants provide fresh, healthy fruits & vegetables. Wide variety of offerings & you get to meet the farmers often. It's close to work and shopping there supports my efforts to re-direct my life toward making healtheir choices. Plus it reminds me of my childhood shopping w/ my Mom @ the Scott Street market.

It's getting harder & harder to find good food in stores. Commercial agriculture is creating more nonfood than food, it seems and farmer's markets are a good solution. This one rocks and it's close to where Ilive & work.

great place to shop, obviously but they also take interest in teaching our children about what they have to offer, how to grow vegetables and even answer questions about animal pee on the vegetables - which led to a great conversation about washing vegetables and their hands!!!

we all need to support each other localy and our states farmers. Buying from the farmer helps you and him and cuts out the middle man so we can afford more food for our familys.

I always find the freshest produce, prettiest flowers and best jams and jellies there! It is very accessible from all areas of town. And, the people are always friendly and helpful!!

It is convenient with a large variety of local dealers who sell everything from plants for your garden, herbs, and flowers, produce, to honey, pies, and jewelry and lawn decorations. You never know who you will see there. It is just fun. Great way to shop.

I always try to buy American and local items. This Farmer's Market is a good centrally located markert with enough room for lots of venders and they always have good products. American farmers deserve our support!

When I was little, my mom used to take my brother and me to the Agricenter Farmers Market once a week. It was such a neat thing, to be able to see fresh produce grown by local farmers. Meeting these hard-working men and women inspired me to keep a small garden in the back yard as a child, and I grew tomatoes, watermelon, and squash. As a college student, I've found myself returning to the farmers market. I've come to appreciate the fresh, healthul fruits and vegetables sold there. I've also come to realize that the lower costs are not only beneficial to me, but to the famers as well. By removing the middle-man (namely, grocery stores), farmers are able to sell directly to consumers, pocketing most, if not all, profits. This is in contrast to farmers dealing with grocery stores, in which case the stores increase the prices of the goods in order to make a profit themselves, while the farmers recieve less of the overall profit of the sale of their goods. The Agricenter Farmers Markets is extremely important to the community in Shelby County and the Mid-South region. It not only provides a means by which farmers can make a living, but it also allows consumers to develop relationships and communicate directly with farmers.

It's a wonderful, refreshing oasis of fresh foods and produce in a congested and overly urban environment. It's not just nice, it's borderline necessary these days.

It's always clean and fresh ... LOVE IT. Plus, it's part of the best park EVER, Shelby Farms Park!

Our family shops there once a week and sometimes more often. Love the local farmers and the prices. It's only a few minutes drive away and the atmosphere is great.

It is interesting,has "lots of health" sitting in front of you. I am a Master Gardening Intern & enjoy picking out fresh fruits & vegatables when I go to to UT Ext. center for a class. Also it is good for "one-stop shopping" because there is a flower garden nursery next to Farmer's Market.

Veggies and fruit is great in season so that it is so fresh. Most is organic which is great. People are most helpful and nice. Place is clean and light and airy. They have plants at reasonable prices. Neat place.

It has great space, lots of parking, many varieties, great people, great, great atmosphere for making one's selections, creative outlets, foods that are grown with such care and concern. I am soooooooo blessed!!

Closest for me and is year round. Now there's a vendor hauling fresh seafood up from the Gulf Coast on Fridays! It doesn't get any better.
