I have been so pleased with Everything I have bought from Debbies Garden. She has some very unusual plants that you do not see at the big boxed stores. I will continue to buy from her as by long as she lets me!!?

In the early spring I bought the variety pack, thinking there wouldn't be much difference in the four varieties - basil is basil, right? No. Each of the four varieties, Lemon, Lime, Cinnamon, Blue leaf has a very distinct (and tasty) flavor. All grew well both in my windowsill containers and in the ones I took outside. Months later, I am still able to pick basil every few days, compared to last year's store-bought seeds which stopped growing after a month.

My two packets of morning glory seeds arrived quite promptly, and postage-free to me. I can hardly wait till summer 2013 so I can watch them grow. I was surprised and pleased to find a bonus packet of seeds with my order. I'll be ordering again from Debbie's Garden, as well as sharing my experience with local gardening friends.
I would prefer NOT having my full name with the rating, but have not found a way to remove it...

This soap works great.
If the poison ivy oil has been on you for over maybe an hour,
you may want to use the spray they also have.

I bought a package of moonflower seeds a couple of months ago. The service was good--the seeds were shipped quickly. I got 9 seeds in all. Unfortunately, only 2 of them germinated, and then one of those eventually died. The other one is still hanging on, and it may or may not live. Since only 2 germinated, that is a germination rate of about 20%. OTOH, I've bought moonflower seeds from commercial nurseries and had a germination rate of at least 70%. Of course, I didn't pay a fortune for the seeds, but I'd still expect a better germination rate than 20%.

I ordered a pack of seeds from Debbie's garden, but after 2 weeks I still hadn't received them. They had gotten lost in transit, so Debbie re-sent me my seeds for FREE! She is very friendly and easy to get in touch with by e-mail. I will definitely order more things from her!

This is the first year I'm attempting my very own herb garden. The seeds I ordered from Debbie's Garden were here in less than 48 hours and included a bonus! Debbie also checked in with me via email to ensure I was happy with my order. I will definitely get my seeds from her again next year.

It's not easy to get friendly service from an online retailer, but Debbie's Garden offers exactly that. My package arrived very promptly. With my order there was a short handwritten note encouraging me to get planting. I found that very sweet. I'll definitely be shopping at Debbie's Garden again!

Delicious pecans just like I needed for my pecan pies! Much better than the ones I purchased at a large retail club last year. Debbie is so nice and pleasant - you'll love doing business with her.

Every fall I miss the pecans that I had growing in my backyard in Austin.
As a Texas A&M page describes it: "Big cities such as San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth, and Houston are very large pecan orchards with only one or two trees per home."
A search through the Texas A&M Extension's pecan images, found through Google image search, suggested that the variety we had on our two trees might have been the "Sioux" variety (or a similar variety released before 1940, which is around when the Allandale neighborhood was built, with two pecan trees in every back yard).
Whether or not those were Sioux, and whether or not these are, these are like those: sweet and almost buttery; nothing like the dry, flavorless, red-shelled varieties that are often the only ones to make it to your grocery store. Their overall appearance, shell and meat, are also virtually identical: light, cream-colored meat and skinny, long shell, with some black striping. Fairly easy to crack without a nutcracker, just by rolling them back and forth with your palm against a hard surface until the shell has enough cracks in it to be easy to peel.
Anyway, just like I remembered, and DELICIOUS. Very fast delivery, too!
Thanks, Debbie! I am going to need some help getting through the 5 pounds, so I am dropping some of these off with my folks tomorrow. Never hurts to spread the wealth and the joy around a little, especially when you have extra to spare. : )
Maybe drop me an e-mail when next year's crop comes in. Thanks!
