Because there is a great variety of organic and sustainably grown produce and products. I like to support our local farmers, and I benefit from their fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.

The farmers are friendly. They have yummy fresh produce and other products. I love having the crafts there as well so I can get all my shopping done.

My membership with the Monroe Farm Market has been such a blessing for my family. We were having such a hard time finding local, sustainably grown, organic produce in Charleston. The farmers in the Monroe Market that I have met are really nice people, and I've only had one instance where the product was subpar... and they refunded my money without complaint. Beef, goat, lamb, eggs, produce, baked goods, soap, local nuts and syrups. It is so wonderful to have access to this in Charleston. Not all of the farmers are organic, but the kind of operation is indicated in the order form they send out every week in the summer/every two week in the winter. And I LOVE the fact that I can email my order out, then drive by and pick it up. My grocery shopping takes less than ten minutes! I highly recommend them!
