Everything is pretty expensive. There's not that many stands. They start packing up at about 10:30 you can be standing in line waiting to buy something and the completely unhelpful people will just start putting things away that you wanted to buy. I wanted a relleno but didn't want to carry a greasy food item around so I had planned on swinging back around and getting it. That stand was gone by 10:45. It wasn't a particularly hot day or anything. They supposedly close at 11:30 but if you want anything you better get there early.

A deeply unkind vibe to anyone under 50 who is worth less then a $1 million. This wasn't my first time going or the first time being treated that way. Not all the stands are like that but when 1/3 of them are it sort of sours the whole event.

If your event is just for old people you should market it that way. If your plums aren't sweet or tart does that mean they have no flavor? Unhelpful to the max.

All of the farms are in full swing in midsummer. All of the vendors are local farms with wonderful local fresh produce. The tomatoes are finally ripening, melons and winter squash are appearing. Because of the heat, greens will be sparce until late September. Only one farm has a greenhouse, so you may only get what is in season. So come frequently and sample Natures Bounty as she delivers it. Come by and visit me at the Hidden Valley Farm stand. I love to share info about my farm and how to prepare my lovely vegetables.
