I love to eat organic locally grown food as often as I can and it's really important to support small farms and local growers so it's available. It's also really nice to meet the people who are feeding me because they all seem wonderful.

I support Emmaus Farmers' Market because the vendors are friendly and the produce is fresh. There is a festival atmosphere due to the weekly musical entertainment and community booths.

They have a great selection of organic produce, fresh baked goods and local dairy and meat products. It is a friendly, happy market. There are always lots of children and dogs:-) We like to support our local farmers.

We are one of the farms/vendors at the Emmaus Farmers Market and I have to thank the loyal group of customers that support this market! Rain or shine, these customers shop the market with their baskets in hand and continue to be the inspiration for us to milk goats everyday!!

I love the Emmaus Farmers' Market. All the farmers are dedicated to sustainable agriculture, and their prices are comparable to area grocery stores (and often much better!) They have an area where kids can run around and draw on the ground with chalk while mom gets the shopping down. They've created more than a farmers' market, the Emmaus Farmers' market is a community! Plus I can do almost all my shopping there. The only things I can't get are flour, sugar, spices, and milk.

Well...I am a bit biased but this market is such a wonderful place to get producer only products- produce, meat, cheese, bread, honey....it is a community event...everyone comes to meet friends, listen to great music, play some Puttle....it makes me feel great to see so many smiling faces....and meet so many wonderful people!

It's a great grouping of vendors, many dedicated to not only local, but also organic, foods. There's a terrific coffee shop right across the street, so you can bring your favorite beverage along. It's a meet-up place, too, on a Sunday, where you know you'll run into lots of people you know.

If anyone in the Lehigh Valley is "our peeps", they've been to the Emmaus Market. It was a great way to get to know the community within our community, as it were. And the farmers and their food are great. I won't start naming vendors, but they make our year. Late winter and early spring get a little harder, though!

The farmers are our neighbors. We see our other neighbors there. It is truly a community resource. The South Mountain Bike Shop is our first stop.

The Emmaus Farmers' Market started 7 years ago due to the hard work and dedication of community leaders and local farmers. Originally an Emmaus Main Street Program project, the Market became its own 501c3 organization, formed its own board of directors, created by-laws, and has grown stronger every year. A fantastic example of a grassroots effort that made it big!

the food is pure, yummy, far more nutritious than factory farming, and the growers are at one with the earth, with the sun, rain, and God, all of which are love.

It's a social event where the moment you walk onto Main Street you feel like your with family. Dogs, children, music, puttle, honey, cheese, locally grown vegies, baked goods and you take all that home with you - including the sense of belonging to something wonderful!

The food is the best we've tasted anywhere. The farmers are only permitted to sell what they grow and it's difficult to decide which booth to buy from because everyone is excellent.
