I've received mixed greens from Manakintowne in my Rural Virginia Market CSA weekly share. I've also bought from them at the Goochland, Byrd Community House, South of the James markets, and the special holiday market in Goochland's J.S R. College campus. Greens are washed and fresh. I've tried new things, like sunflower and radish shoots. Everything on their table is beautiful.

Manakintowne Specialty Growers knows exactly how to do that. I believe I have probably eaten most of what they produce at one time or another and have always been so very impressed with the freshness and quality. When I started visiting the Farmr's Market in Goochland and had a chance on a regular basis to have their micro greens on our own table, I could not have been happier. Jo and Rob have developed a first rate farm/business and have maintained their "friends" attitude along the way.
Being a soap and lotion maker that is very picky about my ingredients, I didn't hesitate going to Manakintowne for a supply of lavender this year. It's nice to have a source so close to the farm when I deplete my own supply. Of course, I will keep going back now!
Yes, Manakintowne really can make fresh jump out and grab ya!!
