On the morning of December 17 I purchased bulk items from this business in Elizabeth City. Before I left the store, I noticed that the clerk had overcharged me on 3 of the 11 or so items I had purchased. I waited in line to show her the mistake. She said the prices were in the computer system and she was unable to change them. When I suggested she change the prices on the bins she responded, "when I have time." I returned my purchase and will not shop there again. If you shop there, watch your prices carefully. I don't see how it can advertise online that it is an honest business when it treated a (previously) regular customer like that.

I recently moved to Elizabeth City, and it not a very big town with much selection. I was looking for a wider selection of gluten free products and just happened to see SoHo Organic Market, so I decided to give it a try. The prices are just awesome, and their selection is great. They have lots of things [such as nuts, rice, pasta] in the bulk, and it is very reasonably priced. They have different fresh produce every week. You can suggest a product and they'll put it down on a list and have is possibly there the following week, mostly if it's in demand. Through and through, I highly recommend this store if you want fresh, organic or gluten free food. Go here before you go to the big stores! :)
