We live in a small, out of the way, high elevation town with a short growing season. Our local grocers produce tends to go bad quickly. It is a treat for us to get fresh and delicious produce that will last in my refridgerator atleast a week if I don't eat it all immediately.

Support of the Pinedale Farmers market is critical to a varied food supply of fresh produce and helping out friends and neighbors

our growing season is so short we really need to have the supplement from other near local regions and the local culture a farmer's market provides complements our community.

It's about knowing where your food comes from and building relationships with your neighbors. Knowing that the produce was grown in a sustainable manner, and that the folks who grew it are paid a fair wage and not exposed to pesticides. Everyone wins.

Because it is so great to have fresh produce and the farmers have to work so hard to grow it! We have such long winters and look forward to the Farmers' Market as a sign of summer.

We have LONG winters here and a very short growing season. Our Farmer's Market gives our community a great chance to reconnect with each other, and buy some great produce, crafts and flowers from those who can grow them.
