Best market in the city--organic and CNG, great vendors, wonderful products, a real sense of community.

I like to eat organically grown and raised food. I try to always buy local. I feel it is our responsibility to support our neighborhoods. Organic farmers don't get any real government help, only the big agri businesses do. Our support might help this situation and get business for those farmers who take care of the land instead of ravaging it, and make good, healthy food more affordable and the norm.

Love that everything is organic; and the wonderful free cage -organic raised- freshly dressed farm chickens they have there are absolutely wonderful! Clearly the best market in Pittsburgh - the produce is wonderful and they have many herbs as well.

As a past manager of the F@F, I think it is the support of the wonderful people who visit the market regularly and those who visit from around the world. They are impressed by the variety of product, the passion and knowledge of the purveyors, and always have a fantastic, personal time.

Always fresh, wonderful, organic, food! Organically raised meats, samples and recipes from Slow Food Pittsburgh and sometimes local chefs using the available produce. The farmers are all willing to talk about their process, and the atmosphere is totally welcoming and fun -- in Pittsburgh's Strip District, which is like a carnival on Saturdays of great food with the local restaurants, street vendors and shops!

They have the best farmers, all organic. You can get organic meat there as well.

I love being able to get fresh seasonal goodies in the heart of a bustling Saturday morning in the Strip District!
