When I first moved here I was excited to go to a farmers market last summer (2011) being that I was living in a "farm" community. At this market there was one small vendor with some Asparagus... that's it! The rest was sugar foods, I felt like I was at a bake sale that served greasy hamburgers on the side. Where did the other reviewers go to get produce?

Buying local insures that food source will continue to be available. Farming is a labor of love for the land and its produce. Support those who love the land.

The produce is very good. The merchants are very friendly. There is a
happy atmosphere when I am there. People smile more. We can bring
our dog which at other Farmers Markets you can't. She soaks up the
atmosphere and also has a great time.

Excellent organic produce, helpful local farmers. Right next to New Seasons, so parking is very easy.

it's nice to support the community and not have to rely for food at the stores and you get to support the local farms. It's better for us and our earth to come together like this.
