Tami and the crew at Earthen Harvest have such a fresh amount of organically grown food. This was my first CSA, I live about 10 minutes from the farm. They deliver to me every Tuesday night btwn 10pm and 1am but they deliver to other people all through the night. The delivery is included in the price and their delivery guy is very nice and friendly. The produce variety changes along with the season. There are two bag sizes, small and large. I had a large because I am a vegan and eat mainly raw so I juice a lot of it. But for one or two people probably the smaller bag is enough. Everything is harvested and right away delivered. I know this because if its raining and muddy they may postpone that delivery until they can harvest. Also consider that because everything is super super fresh that it does have dirt so it will need to be cleaned more than store bought produce. But it is so worth it. The price for the large works out to be about $24/week I think and you just pay it upfront.

I really enjoyed being part of a CSA this summer but wish Earthen Harvest had a wider range of produce to deliver each week. I feel like in the high point of summer I received 3 continuous weeks of mustard greens, parsnips and turnips. I would have loved summery fruits and vegetables like more tomatoes, cucumbers, berries, melons, tomatillos, arugula, anything that is a quick cook steam or thrown in salad. (I hate turning on the oven in the summer) Everything I did receive was very tasty and beautifully grown. Communication is great, a day before the delivery you get an email letting you know what you will be getting at your door with recipes, they will also let you know if there will be cancellations. This summer there were a high amount of cancellations but they are generous enough to make it up next grow season or renew at a discounted rate. Overall, great CSA, just would love the addition of more summer time fruits and more variety. Thanks Earthen Harvest!

This is going to be our second year.with Earthen Harvest. The food is WONDERFUL! They include great recipes with the newsletter to keep you using the food.

We bought a Breville juicer so that we can make sure we take advantage of every tasty, healthy and wonderful thing they deliver. Healthy, great , organic veggies left at your door? You can't go wrong.

Warned...tney are Ninga organic farmers, and your food will magically appear. Even our dogs never bark... :)

I had no idea that fresh, organic veggies delivered to my door could make me so happy! I never envisioned that signing on with Earthen Harvest could have such a positive impact on my daily diet. I'm totally enthralled with the variety this season has brought even with the challenging weather we've had this Spring. Not only have I enjoyed every morsel of the salad greens, scallions, strawberries, radishes, peas, chives, zucchini and more, but I love how my filled Earthen Harvest box magically appears on my doorstep every Wednesday night. I have yet to see my box being delivered, so it really does feel like a great surprise. And I can hardly contain myself once I bring it in, I'm so excited to see what treasures Earthen Harvest has graced me with each week.

Coming from a farming family myself (chicken farming in Monmouth Co. many years ago) I can really see how hardworking and dedicated Tami & Bill are to tending the land and growing their produce in the purest and most ecologically sound methods possible. They truly treat this land which has such meaning for me with the utmost care. I am most grateful to be a member of Earthen Harvest CSA as well as associated with individuals who are so devoted to the CSA philosophy .

Just wanted to let everyone know that you will not be disappointed in the veggies and fruits from Tammi and Bill. I have been exposed to such a variety of greens, root veggies, aspargus, and strawberries to name a few. Please don't hesitate to join:) Claire (Atlantic Highlands)

I am so happy that I found out about Earthen Harvest and was able to join their CSA this year.

Their produce is wonderful, and I look forward to opening my box from them each week. It is so comforting knowing exactly where your food comes from that you feed your family.

This is honestly and truly some of the best organic produce coming out of NJ that I have seen in some time. Above and beyond how refreshing it is to know where your food is coming from, week after week I am continually surprised at all the outstanding veggies they are turning out and dropping off at my door.

I look at Tami and Bill and I'm looking at the future of food. Joining their CSA was one of the best ideas (and best investments) I have had in a long time. You would never know it was their first year operating Earthen Harvest. Truly, I cannot rave enough about this tag team farming couple. They are putting the garden back in the garden state.
