It is a Great opportunity to access and support local organic farming. It gathers the community and works as a social networking. It is a staging for sharing information about local events and opportunities. It displays local talent. It is FUN.

It is a wonderful way to find locally grown, fresh produce, supports our local economy and is a great way to get to say "Hi" to friends and neighbors and stay in touch with community activities.

It does an excellent job in promoting and offering local sustainable healthy food. It is also a great weekly community gathering place with entertainment.

I know most of the local merchants and am sure of the quality of their goods. Plus it's a good place to meet your neighbors.

We are a small community, with a very short growing season. Our Farmer's Market does a wonderful job bringing us beautiful, healthy produce even though we are in a remote location. People you haven't seen in a while, you will run into and catch up with at the Farmer's Market and there is always excelent information and enterainment. Our Farmer's Market supports our struggling economy and brings us all together as a family.

It is a great event when people get together and support the community and local farmers and spend time with their family and friends. What else would you want?

Our weekly farmers' market is the best way we know to support our local farmers. They are dedicated to driving longish distances to bring us fresh food. We are a mountainess community which is doing our best to be as knowledgeable and sustainable as possible.

This is a wonderful Farmer's Market! I have been going with my family every summer for many years while on vacation in the area. The produce is superb, the people friendly and welcoming and the laid back atmosphere and live music are reminders of how lovely it is to shop slowly buying from people who care for the land - who actually touch the earth!

Look for the Tehama Gold olive oil if they have a booth there. It is a fabulous, organic Northern California oil produced by a family operation. If they aren't selling at the market, the Natural Store across the street sells it.

I can't wait for my annual jaunt to the market and my teenagers feel the same way ~ we plan our vacation around it and look forward to Thursday afternoons and the delicious after experience of savoring the food. The only problem? The produce is so good, we eat it too fast!!

It brings our small rural community together. All sections of our community are represented, and it's a great family event, with awesome activities, music and food, all from locals!

The Quincy Farmer's Market gives me the ability to purchase high quality food directly from the people who grew it. It also brings together people from our community for an evening of entertainment, conversation, and good food.

I support Quincy Certified Farmers' Market because I can purchase delicious, healthful, certified organic REAL food grown and sold by local farmers. I invite anyone in our area to join us every Thursday evening during the summer and enjoy our local grown food and music. Thanks, Mary-Louise Ruth
