The market has the best fresh locally grown vegetables and products. They are all reasonable priced and very friendly individuals. Going to the farmers market is liking going to an old friends home who has set their table with the best they have to offer. The merchants are always being with pride of their hard work and quailty of product. Everyone is helpful and it is always an adventure with friends.

Though we can not get to the market at this time being that we reside in Arizona; we do hope that it continues as this is one of the enticements for our eventual move to Greenville.

Lots of organic produce and products. Not just fruit and vegetables, but seafood, pork, chicken, beef and lamb. Fresh pasta, fresh bread. Non-food products such as candles, soap, plants, flowers. And Dog Treats, too!

I just LOVE getting out in the morning on Saturday, and visiting the market to see what the vendors are selling and also hearing a different performer each Saturday. All the people: vendors, performers, and visitors, are always so pleasant, and it just makes for a wonderful morning!

I just love Carolina First Saturday Market because of its relaxing, friendly atmosphere. They always have relaxing music and wonderful demonstrations, too. The greater part of the market is local growers, and we make good friends there who support us local growers and artisans. I look forward to seeing our many fans and friends, many of whom we would not have known without the Saturday Market. The market personel are very friendly and helpful to us. We have a booth there, Upstate Locally Grown Market, representing several growers in a cooperative effort and manned by volunteers.

I've gone to Carolina First Saturday Market in Greenville since its infancy almost 10 years ago. It continues to grow, attract unique vendors, and brings a variety of entertainment. Great way to spend a Saturday morning by yourself or with family. You are always bound to see someone you know and its a great way to support local farmers and bring the city together. Greenville wouldn't be the same without it.

IT IS WONDERFUL TO GET OUT EARLY IN THE MORNING SUN & FRESH AIR. TO SHARE TIME WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I LOVE SEEING GENERATIONS OF FAMILIES COMING STARTING NEW TRADITIONS WITH THEIR CHILDREN. I SHARE THE TIME WITH MY OWN DAUGHTER AND WE LOVE MEETING EACH OF THE VENDORS. SEEKING OUT THOSE THAT ARE THERE EACH WEEK AND GETTING TO KNOW THE NEW ONES. WE HAVE MADE IT A WEEKLY ADVENTURE WITH COFFEE FROM THE LOCAL COFFEE SHOP, BREAD FROM GREAT HARVEST AND SHRIMP & GRITS FROM SOBY'S. IT IS A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY!!

This market has great locally-grown, organic, and heirloom vegetable selection. So many of the so-called farmers markets really just have the same stuff you find in the grocery store. The whole point of a farmers market is to find locally grown produce. You can also find fresh pasta and baked good. The live musicians add to the overall ambiance.
