I like the fresh produce and the community feeling you get when you shop at the market. The vendors are friendly and the prices are great!

They turn a sad blacktop in the midst of old factories right downtown, into a bustling, green space where our community grows right along with the other growing things!

As of 2008, the market was still there - on Wednesdays and Saturdays [early in the AM till about 2PM].

I guess it will reopen sometime in June - no local publicity as yet.

Local produce, some crafts & baked goods. Easy to get to off Rt 8 across from the park on the riverfront {The Slab} downtown.
