We visited Vogel Farms for the first time this past weekend. Everyone was so very friendly and informative! We purchased bacon (the fresh eggs were sold out) and today we ate the best bacon I have ever tasted! The gift shop and plant nursery tour was fabulous and I now have a new location for gift-buying! I love this FARM!

My wife and I have been kicking around the idea of a meat subscriuption for some time now and finally made the decision to try it in January of 2010. We have picked up two monthly orders so far and both of them have been great. When you arrive at the market you see exactly what you want to see, a small country farm raising the animals right there in their own fields. The operators of this business are flexible and fun to work with and I'd recommend them with very high marks to anyone looking for a great source of high quality meat and dairy products.

I discovered Vogel Farms a couple years ago, and I agree that they have just about the best tasting meat around. The flavor and quality just can't be compared to. And I hate to spread the word, but they sell a breakfast sausage sandwich at the Saturday Kuna Farmers Market that just melts in your mouth...their own fresh sausage and eggs...one bite, and you think you're at the State Fair! Can't find this breakfast sandwich anywhere else. it would make Guy of the Food Channel DROOL!!! It sells out fast, regretfully!! And once you taste that, its really hard not to buy their meat. But the very best thing that has happened is that on their web site, you can place an order and have it all ready for you to pick up at the Saturday Kuna Farmers Market....I get my eggs and the meats I want, and they haven't sold out!!! It's all ready for me!!! I'm so spoiled..... The biggest selling point for buying their meats, besides the taste, is everytime I read about a MEAT or CHICKEN recall, I don't blink an eye, I know where my food comes from...LOCAL!!
