It is with great sadness that I write this note. Treva was a wonderful friend and host. I stayed at her cottage several times when visiting The Dalles. She was always so nice to me and easygoing. She will definitely be missed.

She gave me some of her soap bars the last time I visited, and they are wonderful. Lavender is such a soothing and healing herb. I hope her family and friends keep the farm and cottage going.

I was married June 28th and got all my flowers from Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm. The fun of going an picking my own flowers and arranging them myself was not only extremely thrifty but also a fun and relaxing activity before the rush of the wedding day. The lavender kept extremely well and I now have my dried bridal bouquet to keep forever. I'm so glad I went with Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm.

I was married in June of 2007 at Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm. It was a picture perfect wedding. The site was so beautiful and there were several options for how to set up the site. The lavender was in bloom and very pretty and fragrant. The owners are lovely people and run the farm very professionally. Treva was practically my wedding planner, and was not in any way overbearing. They are very generous with certain supplies and resources--just ask. But with a site this gorgeous, there are minimal embellishments necessary.

The guest cottage is clean and country chic. I used it as my dressing room and beauty parlor on the day of the wedding. It even has a small kitchen that included a delicious snack set-up. Yum!

It is so unfortunate that future weddings will not have the great pleasure of working with Treva, but she has created a legacy of love and beauty that will continue even in her absence.

I ordered lavender from this farm, and never received it, even though they claimed it was shipped. I contacted the vendor to find out what was wrong and never received a response. I'm very disappointed. Worst of all, this was for my wedding and now I have to scramble to get some so I can make 200 favors in time! I would not recommend this place to anyone, ever.

While visiting our daughter in the Dalles, we had the most wonderful visit to the Hoffman farm staying in the cottage this spring. The views of the snow covered Mount Hood in spring sunshine is something we will always remember and the comfort and the charm of the cottage, made it just the place to stay. The quality of the thick toweling robes and sheepskin slippers together with the Hoffmans luxurious lavender beauty products, we would have expected to have found in accommodation at twice the price. Since our return to France we have often thought of our time in The Dalles and our stay at cottage and look forward to staying again on our next trip

I am sorry to hear that Alycia had a difficult experience so close to a most important event in her life. I, however, must agree with the above comments and say that Treva Hoffman of Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm provided the utmost care to her customers and their orders. I personally helped Treva on several occasions package her many orders and I can guarantee that each order was treated with love and care. I worked with her on planning a large community event just this last year, even while she was incredibly ill. She made every effort to ensure perfection and enjoyment at every turn. Any mistake that Alycia may have experienced was simply that, a mistake that could be made by any one of us. I'm positive, had Treva and her family not been in the midst of the final moments of her life, she would have been sure to make a timely adjustment in the situation. Her life and her business was about creating products, packages, events, and moments meant to cheer, warm, and connect people and their passions. I wish Alycia the best in her new marriage and can only hope that the early moments of her new life as wife be filled with as much joy as Treva would wish upon them.

As a small business owner in the same community as Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm, I have had the opportunity and pleasure of working with Treva and her staff many many times during the past several years. Treva and her commitment to professional, high-quality products and services have been an inspiration to myself and many other local female entrepreneurs. Treva and Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm certainly set the bar to a very high standard. It is with deep sadness that I said goodbye recently to a woman who will continue to be an inspiration. It is my great hope that Hoffman HIlls Lavender Farm will continue to provide their products and services in the manner in which Treva Hoffman intended and fulfilled while she could.

Last September, the Oregon Association of Municipal Recorders (OAMR) held its annual conference in The Dalles. A highlight of the event was the dinner held at the Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm in honor of our executive board, past presidents, and out-of-state guests. Treva Hoffman provided us with a fabulous evening of great food and wine in a gorgeous setting and made sure that all the details were perfect. We'll never forget Hoffman Hills and the hospitality of Treva and her family and friends. Mary Feldman, 2007-08 OAMR President

I have never had any difficulties utilizing this source for products. The owners are extremely kind and caring as well as very diligent in the passion for lavender products and service. I must say that I have just been notified that one of the owners (remember this is a family business) Treva Hoffman past away about 2 weeks ago from a multiple year battle with breast cancer. She leaves her husband and young children...perhaps this unfortunate event was a factor in your order difficulty? I'm hopeful that this family continues to provide the quality of lavender products and service that Treva provided so faithfully and completely for others - may God bless her and her family. Sincerely - A friend and patron ~
