After living in Dayton, since 1995, I just discovered this amazing garden. Michael and the team are friendly and grow some of the BEST starters for your garden. They also have an amazingly fresh salad mix, spinach, and other delightful goodies in the cooler. The salad lasts for weeks and the spinach did as well. They will help you with the garden selections. I bought lettuces, kale, Bock Choy, cabbage, and other assorted veggies. They let me know what was safe to plant in March, everything is coming up just fine! I will go back for the veggies that I will need to wait on. They are so friendly and eager to help you with your selections. Have fun with your garden. Jacque James

Been going to this farm for about a year and a half in the beginning it was nice they said if they were not open just come in and leave money in the box and take what you need or if they were open just give them a call and they will be glad to come down first I got chewed out because I wasn?t a member and they would not let me buy eggs or corn then they started getting really nasty and got very upset that I came on a Monday not knowing that they were open strange people love the produce there but just tired of dealing with the odd personalities of the owners
Also all the plants that I bought to put in my garden died every last one of them

I first met Michael at Five Rivers MetroPark's 2nd Street Market while buying his most excellant garlic some years ago. Since then I have become a loyal consumer of everything he and Nancy grow. In 2013 we joined his CSA and were very pleased with the quality and variety. In addition he grows and offers an amazing variety of heirloom veggies in the spring for planting at home. We signed up again this year and have been enjoying the best spring greens! I have been to the farm on numerous occasions and everything is grown with great care and best natural practices - no chemical anything!

Michael, Dan and the crew produce an amazing amount of bounty from a small farm. The lettuce and spinach are luminous and tasty...carrots, beets and turnips sweet and unlike any I've ever had.
My friends and family who don't like eggs devour the ones produced by the NPR - listening chickens from Hungry Toad Farm!

Hungry Toad Farm is the most productive piece of land! In particular, Michael grows the best salad greens around--just ask the other happy customers and restaurants.
